Brant and I wanted to thank you for everything that you did for our wedding. The reception was truly amazing. There was not one bad thing that I could say about the entire evening. All of my guests loved the food. I wish I could say the same but my stomach was in such knots from nerves that I did not eat anything! I was so happy with the placement of the bars, food and cakes. The day my husband and I had lost all hope of finding the perfect place for him and me to be married we made an appointment to see The Courtyard on St. James Place. My new mother-in-law, sister-in-law, one of my best friends and my new husband drove to The Courtyard and were happy with the central location. As soon as we turned the corner and saw the beautiful garden setting, I was in love. The place was very nice and we fell in love with the Garden Room. It was small enough not to get lost in the place but big enough for all that we wanted to do.

Words are inadequate to express the gratitude in my heart for such a job well done for Jared and Kari's wedding. I wish you could hear the feedback I have been getting from those who were there. They were overwhelmed with the food, the setting, the wait staff, how well it was organized, how beautiful the tables and flowers were.
Our prayers for this wedding have been answered "exceedingly abundantly above all that we could ask or think" (Eph. 3:30). There was not one area that was not done with excellence. The rehearsal dinner was also wonderful—again the food was superb and the wait staff wonderfully attentive. Please tell whoever does the food and whoever trains the wait staff that they are the best I've ever seen (we attended a wedding at The Crescent in Dallas the week before and The Courtyard far surpassed it).

We had the most beautiful wedding on May 16 and our family and friends are still talking about it three weeks later! It was beyond what I expected. For our reception, we did a seated dinner, and it was really not as expensive as I thought it would be, and our guests were so impressed and loved the food. Some of our guests told us it was the best wedding food they had ever had! Also, the decor is classic...green ivy on the outside, crystal chandeliers upstairs. It's beautiful! I have no complaints!

From the moment we went to check the venue out we were in love with it!! We were so happy to have our wedding ceremony and reception at the Courtyard on St. James Place!! They were so nice to us and very helpful with everything! It is a great place for weddings because if you have your wedding there, they take care of the food, the tables, chairs, etc...you don't have to worry about finding certain vendors to rent equipment or anything. They even recommended vendors for things like cake, flowers, and transportation.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Courtyard on St. James Place. Not only is it a beautiful venue (which photographs perfectly), but the entire staff is welcoming, professional, and inspiring. The food was spectacular. I had multiple friends say, "I never remember the food at weddings, but that food was great!" There were so many "extras" The Courtyard took care of, like bubble bowls for the flowers, setting out decorations and favors, an aisle runner, coordinating everything, etc.... I could go on forever, but instead I'll just say that this is the perfect venue for any wedding, from small like mine (55 people) to hundreds. Guests are impressed and comfortable.

Overall, St. James was the perfect venue for our wedding for 225 guests. Easily, it was the best choice we made during the wedding planning. We used the larger courtyard for our ceremony, and feared the 60% chance of rain on the wedding day, but the weather turned out, and the courtyard was exactly the atmosphere that we were looking for.
The reception space indoors is lovely, tastefully appointed and neutral, and melded so well with the decor we brought in. It looked amazing. Everything from the Courtyard fell into place on the day of perfectly thanks to the well-versed staff. They did such a good job running the show that we, as the bride and groom, literally felt stress-free during the wedding, which is quite a feat! Moreover, guests raved about our food and the bellinis. Highly recommend this venue.

When our DJ bailed 45 minutes before the ceremony started, our coordinators (employed by the facility) had someone on their way by the time we began the ceremony. They were FABULOUS and I could not have asked for a better ceremony and reception site. It would not have been my dream wedding without this place.

Thank you for putting together such a wonderful evening for our rehearsal dinner. It was so special for Stephen and Natalie and both their families. It felt cozy and warm and intimate. You made sure that the serape colors worked with our centerpieces, and I thought the tables were beautiful. I mentioned in the email I sent earlier how many compliments we received about the Courtyard and the delicious menu. Natalie's family is long time, several generation Houstonians. Many of the attendees were attorneys, and a couple of judges, and business people in their town. My hope is that they may call you in the future. Terry works in Houston quite often and said he will certainly plan this next business diner with you…just don't know exactly when that will be. He loves your cellar! Thank you again for everything.
